1. how long is a token valid?
a gift token is valid for 6 months from date of purchase. its value depreciates by 15% every month thereafter. however, gift token validity is not a reflection of gift voucher validity. these are separate entities. once your token is exchanged for a voucher, the voucher is then valid for anywhere from 1-5 years from date of exchange. this is dependent on the voucher’s country of origin and the affiliated legislation.
2. how long is a voucher valid?
depending on the country in which the voucher is purchased, it can be valid for anywhere from one to five years. irish vouchers, for example, are valid for five years from date of purchase. or in this case, five years from date of token exchange. in south africa, by contrast, vouchers are valid for three years from date of token exchange. the terms and conditions of individual voucher validity will be displayed by the property or retailer at time of purchase.
3. why choose a token over a voucher?
vouchers are a wonderful gift, but the buyer decides how and where the recipient will spend it. tokens, by contrast, give the gift of choice.

5. can i arrive at my chosen property with token in hand?
no, you must exchange your token for a voucher at any of our participating locations. once you receive your chosen voucher, you may then present it at your chosen property or redeem it online.
6. do i have to redeem my token for an experience in the country in which i am based?
nope, the world is your oyster! you’re free to spend your token as your heart desires. you could be based in ireland and fancy a hotel in paris! so long as they’re featured on our participating locations page; your token is eligible to be exchanged for any one of their luxurious vouchers. your choices are without limits. and without borders.
7. there isn’t enough money on my token to purchase the voucher i really want. do i have to choose something else within its value?
nope! if your token has a lower value than the voucher of your dreams, you can top it up via our webpage here. alternatively, you can do so once you reach the redemption confirmation screen. this is where you redeem your token for a voucher on your chosen property’s website. you will be offered the option to top up from there, too!
